Dear Colleagues
COPD6 CONFERENCE, 11-13 JUNE 2008, INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE, BIRMINGHAM UK
A quick reminder that the last date for the standard registration for COPD6 will be 27 April 2008 so if you are waiting to register you may want to get this done to save yourself the extra costs. Remember you can register quickly and easily at www.copdconferences.org where you will have the choice to pay by credit card, cheque or invoice. Similarly, if you require accommodation might I suggest you get this organised very quickly as the hotels we have contracted with are getting very close to fully booked and there is a lot happening in Birmingham at that time so hotel space is limited.
We have even more exhibitors signed up to provide the largest exhibition we have had for many years and it will be your chance to catch up with the latest innovations in the field of COPD. Take a look at the list on the conference website: www.copdconferences.org.
All authors of submitted abstracts should now have received an email from myself informing them whether or not the abstract has been accepted. However, all authors must be registered for the conference in order to present.
Don't forget that any of you with an interest in Alpha-1-Antitrypsin deficiency can attend the 5th International AIR Conference that is taking place on 10 June 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel that is located immediately opposite the International Convention Centre thus saving on travel costs. We can provide further information on this event as we will be organising both COPD6 and the AIR meeting to make life easy for you.
We have been fortunate to engage the services of Viv Parry to facilitate the interactive session on Friday 13th June again so make this a must to attend as it scored very highly on your evaluations at COPD5.
For this year's conference we will be sending out electronic evaluation forms post conference which you can complete and then download a certificate of attendance so make sure you supply your email address on registration. CME has been applied for through the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
